Material Characteristics:
High-purity alumina micro-powder is used as the raw material, with purity ranging from 95% to 99.9%. Through batching, forming, and densification sintering in a high-temperature air atmosphere furnace, high-performance alumina ceramic materials can be obtained, featuring density of 95%–99.9% or higher, uniform microstructure, and no free impurity residues. The material exhibits high hardness, high wear resistance, good electrical insulation, excellent high-temperature strength, and thermal shock resistance.
Product Information:
Alumina setter plate are high-performance ceramic plate components made from high-purity alumina through forming and high-temperature sintering. Serving as load-bearing tools during the high-temperature firing process, their primary function is to support workpieces or containers to be fired within the furnace, preventing direct contact between the workpieces and the furnace floor, while providing a uniform, flat, and clean setter surface to avoid contamination and chemical reactions. Kiln setters possess good thermal shock resistance and high-temperature strength, maintaining flatness without warping or cracking during use, thereby ensuring the dimensional accuracy and surface quality of the fired products.

Product Dimensions:
Standard setter plate thicknesses range from 5 mm to 15 mm, with length and width dimensions ranging from 100 mm × 100 mm to 500 mm × 800 mm, with a maximum producible single-side length of up to 900 mm. Further processing techniques are available, including surface grinding, double-sided precision grinding, edge chamfering, positioning drilling, slotting, step machining, and irregular contour cutting. Yuko Corporation can also customize non-standard dimensions, stepped plates, grooved plates, and complex-shaped setter components according to specific customer drawings and requirements.
Product Applications:
Alumina setter plate are widely used as high-temperature firing carriers for electronic ceramics (MLCC, chip resistors, ceramic substrates, etc.), sintering setter plates for structural ceramics (alumina, zirconia ceramics), heat treatment setters for magnetic materials (ferrite cores, magnetic rings, etc.), supporting plates for sagger assemblies in lithium battery cathode and anode material production (lithium cobalt oxide, lithium iron phosphate, etc.), high-temperature sintering base plates for powder metallurgy products, as well as furnace floor linings and setter tooling in high-temperature atmosphere furnaces, pusher kilns, and bell-type kilns. They are critical load-bearing components under high-temperature clean firing conditions.
