Product Introduction

Material Characteristics:

Pressureless sintered silicon carbide (SSiC) is made of high-purity silicon carbide (SiC) micropowder as raw material. After forming by dry pressing, slip casting or isostatic pressing, densification sintering is conducted in a high-temperature furnace under atmospheric pressure and inert gas protection at a sintering temperature of about 2100-2200℃. This process can produce high-performance ceramics with a theoretical density of over 98%, uniform microstructure and no free silicon residue. The product features extremely high hardness, excellent corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance and wear resistance, and is widely used in industrial kilns, electronic materials, semiconductors and other industries.


Product Information:

pressureless sintered silicon carbide (S-SiC) rollers are produced by cold isostatic pressing followed by high-temperature pressureless sintering, or extrusion molding for blank preparation and subsequent sintering. This ensures uniform density and high straightness of the roller body, delivering stable performance without fracture or deformation during long-term high-temperature operation.


Performance Parameters:

Bulk density ≥3.10 g/cm³, apparent porosity <0.1%, cold bending strength ≥400 MPa, maximum service temperature 1600℃.


Product Dimensions:

The outer diameter of S-SiC rollers ranges from 25mm to 80mm, with a single length up to 4000mm. For straightness inspection, Yuko Corporation adopts professional laser straightness testing equipment, and the tolerance is strictly controlled within 0.1% of the roller length to guarantee stable transmission in high-speed kilns. Customized production is available in accordance with customers’ specific drawings and requirements.


Product Applications:

S-SiC rollers are widely used in roller kilns for lithium battery cathode and anode materials, electronic ceramic sintering furnaces, magnetic material heat treatment lines and high-temperature atmosphere furnaces, serving as high-temperature load-bearing and transmission rollers.
