Material Characteristics:
Pressureless sintered silicon carbide (SSiC) is made of high-purity silicon carbide (SiC) micropowder as raw material. After forming by dry pressing, slip casting or isostatic pressing, densification sintering is conducted in a high-temperature furnace under atmospheric pressure and inert gas protection at a sintering temperature of about 2100-2200℃. This process can produce high-performance ceramics with a theoretical density of over 98%, uniform microstructure and no free silicon residue. The product features extremely high hardness, excellent corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance and wear resistance, and is widely used in industrial kilns, electronic materials, semiconductors and other industries.
Product Information:
Pressureless sintered SiC beam adopts cold isostatic pressing forming combined with high-temperature pressureless sintering technology, or high-precision blanks are prepared by extrusion molding followed by densification sintering, ensuring uniform cross-section density and excellent straightness of the beam. It presents prominent advantages of no bending, no deformation and high thermal shock stability under long-term high-temperature service conditions.
Performance Parameters:
Bulk density ≥3.10 g/cm³, apparent porosity <0.1%, cold bending strength ≥400 MPa, maximum service temperature 1650℃.
Product Dimensions:
Conventional beam products cover height and width specifications from 30mm30mm to 110mm110mm, with a length ranging from 1500mm to 4500mm and wall thickness from 5mm to 10mm. Multiple reprocessing technologies are available, including surface grinding, end finishing, positioning drilling, grooving, tenon connection and thread processing. Yuko Corporation can also provide customized products according to customers’ specific drawings and requirements.
Product Applications:
Pressureless sintered SiC beam is widely used as core load-bearing and supporting components under high temperature and heavy load, such as support beams for roller kilns of lithium battery cathode and anode materials, load-bearing beam frames for electronic ceramics and special ceramic sintering furnaces, kiln car supports for high-temperature heat treatment lines of magnetic materials, and furnace structural parts of high-temperature atmosphere protection furnaces.
