Material Characteristics:
Pressureless sintered silicon carbide (S-SiC) is made of high-purity silicon carbide (SiC) micropowder as raw material. After forming by dry pressing, slip casting or isostatic pressing, densification sintering is conducted in a high-temperature furnace under atmospheric pressure and inert gas protection at a sintering temperature of about 2100-2200℃. This process can produce high-performance ceramics with a theoretical density of over 98%, uniform microstructure and no free silicon residue. The product features extremely high hardness, excellent corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance and wear resistance, and is widely used in industrial kilns, electronic materials, semiconductors and other industries.
Product Information:
Pressureless sintered silicon carbide (S-SiC) precision components are manufactured by cold isostatic pressing, dry pressing or gel-casting forming processes, combined with high-temperature pressureless sintering technology to produce near-net-shape blanks, which are then precisely shaped through high-precision diamond grinding and CNC machining. For complex structural parts, it ensures dense and uniform internal structure, high dimensional accuracy and controllable geometric tolerances. These components deliver excellent dimensional stability, thermal shock resistance and long service life under severe high-temperature, corrosive and abrasive working conditions, meeting the stringent requirements for core ceramic parts of various high-end equipment. Yuko Corporation has full-process capabilities from forming and sintering to precision machining, providing one-on-one solution design and customized production according to customers’ drawings and technical specifications.
